9 am Sunday morning Divine Service for 1/11/15. Traditional liturgy and law gospel sermon. Pastor Houser’s sermon. The Gospel reading – Mark 1:4-11; John baptizes Jesus. We are utterly dependent on water for our survival. But it’s much more that biology. It has to do with salvation of our souls. God wills that we be baptized. God’s means are water and the Word.
